Florian Stahl's interests are business related questions of the digital economy, especially online social networks and social media. In his academic research Florian Stahl address modeling of social networks, pricing and sampling of (digital) products, consumers' intertemporal choice and discounting of future benefits as well as customers' brand and product switching behavior. Methodically his research is based on quantitative empirical analyses, applied econometrics and Bayesian modeling.

Florian Stahl is currently working as a professor of marketing at University of Mannheim in Germany.
